Integrated graphics are sufficient for everyday computing and many business tasks. Dedicated graphics are usually worth paying for when gaming, 3D, GPU-accelerated creative work or specialized applications require more graphics performance.
Integrated graphics
Integrated graphics share system resources and are built into many modern processors. They are well suited to office work, web browsing, video playback, conferencing and light creative use. Modern integrated GPUs can also handle some casual gaming.

Dedicated graphics
A dedicated GPU has its own processing hardware and graphics memory. It is important for modern 3D gaming, many 3D applications, GPU-accelerated creative software and certain AI or compute workloads.
Avoid buying a GPU you do not use
Dedicated graphics increase cost, power consumption, heat and often laptop weight. For office users, spending the same budget on more memory, a better display or a longer warranty may produce more practical value.
